Welcome to Bell & the Whistle. We’re a small wood shop in rural Arkansas, and we love making unique and special decorations for our customers. If you can’t find the word cutout you’re looking for, this listing is just what you need!

HOW TO ORDER:
Select the FONT. We offer many different fonts to choose from. Scroll through the pictures to see a font chart.
Select the LENGTH. Our sizes are measured from the left to right. If you choose 20″, we will scale the letters so that your word will be 20″ long regardless of how many letters. The height will vary depending on the font and the word chosen.
COLOR. Scroll through the pictures to see our color chart. Please include your choice in the ‘Add your personalization’ box. If no color is selected, black will be chosen by default. If you’d like a distressed look, just let us know in the Notes during checkout.
WORD. In the “Add your personalization” box, please include the word with desired capitalization. *IF YOUR WORD IS MORE THAN 12 CHARACTERS, contact us so we can help you select a size large enough to accommodate your word.
Within 1-2 days of receiving your order, we’ll send you an Sanitrade message containing a proof. Once an order is placed, the customer has 48 hours to make any changes. If the customer purchases RUSH shipping, any changes need to be made by the end of the day after the order is placed. Any changes made after these deadlines will be at the expense of the customer. HOW IT’S MADE:
Lettering is cut from 1/2″ birch plywood using a CNC router which creates a clean and consistent cut. Each piece is sanded on front and back before being painted to your color choice.
KEYHOLE WALL HANGING:
Our key hole hanging option is a ready-to-hang system and includes all the hardware you need for mounting to wood or drywall. Key hole slots are cut in the back of the word and screws are included. This hanging method is sturdy, invisible, and requires only a screwdriver. Select this option in the dropdown menu on the left before adding to your cart.
Our standard option does not include hanging hardware. Some good methods for hanging are: Command Strips, velcro, double sided foam tape, glue, or small nails in the open spaces of the letters. Because of the nature of the lettering, it is somewhat fragile, and we recommend hanging it securely and out of reach of kids or pets.
**If you order one of the smaller sizes and you want a longer word with a lot of letters, there is a possibility that we won’t be able to fit key holes on the back of the lettering. If this is the case, we will let you know and refund the cost of key holes. Thank you for understanding.
LEAD TIME:
Each item is made to order. Our lead time is approximately 1-2 weeks after receiving payment. Items are shipped using USPS priority mail which arrives in 2-3 days. We cannot guarantee shipping times; these are just estimates. We pack our orders carefully with double-wall corrugated cardboard. Recycled packaging materials may be used.
