A balance blend of colours, entirely dyed with natural plant dyes I extracted from the vegetable it’s self! the blue is purple cabbage leaves, the yellow golden onions.
The bodice is built on a raw linen base, and composed of hundreds of strips of silk, gently fraying and sewn one on top of the other, vertically, fanning over your body in a delicate blend of blues and golds, with the occasional shine of sequins.
The top and bottom of the bodice is left feathering out, and it is decorated with a strip of vintage handmade lace, gently yellowed with time.
The flowing skirt is asymmetrically draped, made entirely of high quality silk, layered in such a way that it flows and blows when you walk.
The dress will be custom made to order, to fit your specific proportions. It will be a close replica of the original, but minor details will be different as each dress is a unique work of art. Because it is made just for you, specific personalisations are available. Also available in all ivory hues (for a reduced price).
The fully boned bodice finishes at the natural waist, and closes with a corset in back. I can add straps to it if you prefer, contact me so we can discuss the options.
It is left very long to accomodate various heights: I can ship it as is, and you can hem it locally to get the perfect fit or I can hem it for you, please provide accurate measures from shoulder to hem and from waist to hem, including your heels. also, let me know if you would like it floor length or with a short train.
