This original linocut Rooster print is hand-carved and hand-printed. They were each made in my studio with non-toxic, water based printing inks on white, acid-free, cotton fiber paper. The ink is pressed directly from the carved printing block onto the paper.
The Rooster was inspired by the Chinese Zodiac symbol. However, this handsome bird is known around the world for its focus, drive and fighting spirit.
Please note that due to the nature of the hand printing process, there are slight variations between each print. It is a characteristic of linocut art and makes each one unique.
Paper size: 8.5in. x 11in.
Image size: 8in. x 10in.
The print you receive is unframed and will be placed into a protective plastic sleeve and mailed in an envelope with a sturdy cardboard backer.
