This hand-made leather bookmark makes a perfect gift.
Made of quality veg-tanned leather. The image is hand-drawn on to the leather, and then indentations embossed by hand to bring out the design in 3D. The details are then painted on with leather dye, and finished with a leather polish to bring out the different tones. Edges are burnished to give a smooth rounded edge. The background leather now comes in a choice of chocolate brown, or a natural un-dyed cream finish. The cream one will darken gradually over time and develop a lovely light tan patina.
