Leather bookmarks for all bibliophiles because books are never out of vogue and reading is cool again. This is what you need. Slim enough bookmark that will not strain the spine but remain tactile and attractive. These stylish, unique bookmarks are individually handcrafted from vegetable tanned leather, embossed with a leaf or Celtic knot (and my logo), decoratively edged, lightly stained to give an aged appearance and finally treated with an acid free finish.
Personalisation options – Up to two initials burnt near the bottom (above embossed logo), largest that will fit in either Times New Roman or Edwardian Script – OR (no initials) just a date in DD/MM/YYYY format; hope that makes sense! Please specify if date in ‘comments’ section of order.
The Grey Celtic is coloured with an organic treatment that acts on the tannin within the leather and will therefore seldom be a flat colour, it may even be mottled- what can I say? It’s beyond my control! Thats what makes them so nice…..
There are four designs featured: Autumn Leaf bookmark with a cut out leaf at the top, either plain or coloured in a variegated green (210 – 224 mm x 45 – 48 mm), with a circular Celtic Knot on a domed top (210 – 220 mm x 40 mm) or a Rectangular bookmark with an embossed leaf inset in the body of the rectangle (215 mm x 47-50 mm) Sizes + – 5%).
