MAZAL TOV! Your child is about to receive a siddur! What a wonderful milestone to reach! CINCO DA MAMA is here to help you in your celebration and creation of your child’s siddur cover.
The process is simple. We can work over the phone or email. We are here to accommodate your schedule while making your child’s siddur cover process a fun and exciting memory for you to share with each other.
First, discuss with your child what they want to have on their cover. You might want to pick a Jewish motif, a specific sport or hobby. You may also choose a holiday design that coincides with your child’s birthday or a biblical namesake. Another option is to use the translation of their Hebrew name into a design. Don’t worry if you don’t know the exact translation. We usually do. If your family comes from a multi-cultural background, we can incorporate that into your siddur cover as well. Your siddur is limited only by your imagination.
Once we have pinpointed a design, we pick a color for the child’s name. All designs will be sent for approval via email and within two weeks, your siddur cover is done. While the process has been designed to be simple and easy so that the pressure is taken off of the parent, the end result is a gorgeous siddur cover to follow your child as they grow. Holding hands is a big part of what we do!
Siddur covers begin at $65.00 for a basic cover, which includes a custom cover sewn to size, custom design on the front cover, name in any language on the front and name on the side binding. The material is a durable cotton poly machine washable fabric that holds the color of the thread beautifully and does not fade through the wash. Each additional design or special request such as inscriptions, pockets or bookmarks have an additional $15 charge per item. We welcome special requests like fabric choices or added ‘bling’ and embellishments. We love to hear and cater to new and inovative ideas!
