Handmade, traditional Dirndl dress with blouse and apron. OOAK
This authentic Dirndl has nothing to do with the cheap looking, glitzy
China Dirndl which became unfortunately quite popular even in Germany.
Tailoring this dress I followed the rules of the art of Dirndl making.
The fabric used for the bodice is a pre washed linen / cotton blend.
The attached skirt is made of a cotton / Viscose blend
The corset is lined with a white cotton and is to close with
a number of faux deer horn buttons.
The Dirndl blouse is sewn of a white cotton,
the red apron is made of top quality cotton with a tiny white
flower pattern.
The dress is very well made and can be handed down.

American Size 10 or M, European size 40
bust 38 inches or 96 cm
waist 30 inches or 76 cm
length of dress ( midi ) 52 inches or 133 cm, just below the calf
length shoulder to waist 16.5 inches or 42 cm
There is 0.75 ( 2 cm ) slack on each side to alter it easily to a 12 or 42
manikin in the pics is a size 6
machine washable on gentle cycle, or dry clean
